The List

So far it’s been Vali publishing posts to the blog so I thought I had better get my voice heard as well.

I haven’t had much time to write because there is this list. A list of things which need to be done. Some of the to-do items are repairs, some are unpacking related, others concern the many things which must be done after you relocate your lives 2,200 miles from where they were previously.

I’m making good progress, which means I’m moving things to the completed column, but more things keep being added. As we move from overwhelmed but stable towards functional and comfortable the nature and urgency of the items is changing. They still run closer to urgent and stable but a few comfort-inducing items are starting to creep in. There is hope.

I even had time to get a picture this morning before feeding and walking the dogs. Before beginning to work through the list.
