This renovation, like many I suspect, took much longer than anticipated. Partly, this was due to other things needing attention, partly it was multiple trips to get supplies because I forgot something or didn’t plan on replacing it. Partly, it was waiting for things to dry: primer, paint, tile, grout. Mostly, it was everything taking longer than hoped for.
Vali and I are very happy with the final result. We now have: electrical outlets in the bathroom, two! (there were zero before), new plumbing from the fixtures to the sewer line, new floor tile, replaced the missing tile over the tub, new sink, new mirror, new light overhead, new light above the raised mirror, new niche and shelf for tooth brushes. We even had a new window installed this week! I managed to do all the work, except for replacing the window.
